The Grasp of Time: On Schedule

Pun partially intended.

Both the illustrators Natasha Swan, cover art, and Emily P. Fuller, coloring pages, have submitted all their art. Last night, our editor, Ellen Klowden, stayed up until 2am with me churning out edits for the book. We made it to chapter 26 before she crashed.

At 3:15am, I submitted the files for the proof to see how the layout looks and search for obvious issues in print. This evening, I received approval of the files and ordered the proof; it will arrive in the middle of next week, with two days to review before our drop deadline for final file corrections before the launch: November 18th.

Patreon subscribers have been receiving Emily’s coloring pages, and I just posted the rest of Part I of the book for everyone second tier or higher. The remaining coloring pages and chapters will be released to patrons up through book launch. There’s still time to subscribe and get a sneak peek and full-sized coloring pages to print!

And Robin Wood finally picked an author photo from the shoot we did a couple of weeks ago!

Despite all the years, challenges, and obstacles–especially those in the past couple of months–The Grasp of Time will be published. Even better? I finished the design of the front and back covers last night. Here’s a preview:
